Master Li Meng-Xiong Lee started his training of the Hebei style Xing Yi with his father Li Dong-Yuan Lee since he was a kid. His father is the last inner-room disciple of the legendary Xing Yi Ba Gua Grandmaster Li Tsun-Yi who was supported by Grandmaster Li Dong-Yuan's family in Tianjin until his death. Due to his appreciation of Li family's support, he has tried very hard to teach Grandmaster Li Dong-Yuan to make sure that he got all he could teach him on Xingyiquan and Baguazhang.
Grandmaster Li Dong-Yuan, being raised in one of the richest families in Tianjin city, didn't teach any other student except his own sons and was hence not as well-known as other Li Tsun-Yi's students. However, his name did appear in Sun Lu-Tung's book and his activities have been reported in the Vigor and Beauty Magazine of Taiwan.
Master Li Meng-Xiong has taught many students in Taiwan. His teaching reflects the change and improvement of Grandmaster Li Tsun-Yi's skill after he learned Baguazhang from Grandmaster Dong Hai-Chuan, the founder of the Bagua style internal martial arts. Master Li Meng-Xiong's teaching emphasizes the formation of optimal body structure and the qigong method embedded in the Xing Yi five element fists. In other words, the secrets of Xing Yi Qigong lie in the An-Jin (hidden jin) five element fists training, the 2nd stage of Xing Yi five elements training after the commonly seen Ming-Jin (or explicit jin) training, and there is no such thing as "Xing Yi Neigon" or "Xing Yi Qigong" other than the An-Jin five element fists which include the small orbit circulation and more in the motion. It is not uncommon for his students to practice only the splitting fist for three years before he is satisfied and agreed to teach them other techniques of Xing Yi. His activities has been reported in many articles in the Vigor and Beauty Magazine and the Journal of Taiwan Wu Lin.
